Can customers use multiple rewards or discounts at once?
Yes—but only if you choose to allow it. Kefi gives you full granular control over your profit margins by letting you decide which rewards can be "stacked" and which must be used alone.
How do I enable discount stacking?
When you are setting up or editing a Way to Redeem (such as Percentage Off, Amount Off, or Free Shipping), you will find a Discount Combination section:
To Allow Stacking: Check the boxes for the types of discounts you want this reward to work with (e.g., Product discounts, Order discounts, or Shipping discounts).
To Prevent Stacking: Leave these options unselected. The reward will then act as a standalone discount, meaning Shopify will only allow the customer to apply one code at checkout.
Why should I manage combinations?
Margin Protection: Prevent customers from stacking a 20% loyalty reward on top of a 50% Black Friday clearance sale.
Strategic Incentives: You might allow a Free Shipping reward to be combined with an Amount Off reward to provide a premium experience for your top-tier "VIP" advocates.
Customer Clarity: The logic is handled automatically at the Shopify checkout, so customers will see exactly which discounts are eligible for their cart.
Pro Tip: We recommend reviewing your "Discount Combination" settings for each reward type to ensure your loyalty program aligns with your store's overall promotional strategy.
