Customers Overview Page

The Customers section is a centralized hub where you can monitor your community of advocates. Whether you need to check a specific customer’s points balance or see how quickly your member base is growing, this page provides the real-time data you need.

To access this area, simply click on Customers in the left-hand navigation menu of the Kefi app.

1. The Customer Directory

The main table on this page gives you a bird's-eye view of everyone who has interacted with your store. Here is a breakdown of what you’ll see:

  • Name & Email: The primary identifiers for your customers.

  • Status:

  1. Member: The customer has officially joined your loyalty program (usually by creating an account).

  2. Guest: The customer has made a purchase or visited but hasn't officially signed up for the loyalty program yet.

  • Points: The current live points balance available for that shopper.

  • Date Joined: The exact timestamp of when they became a part of your rewards community.

2. Managing Your Data

To keep your loyalty program running smoothly, the Customers page offers several administrative tools:

A. Syncing Customers

Kefi is designed to work in perfect harmony with Shopify.

  • How it works: Use the Sync Customers button in the top right corner.

  • Why use it? If you’ve recently imported customers into Shopify or made manual changes in your Shopify admin, clicking "Sync" ensures that Kefi reflects the most up-to-date information regarding your customer list.

B. Search, Filter, & Sort

When your store grows to thousands of members, finding one person shouldn't be a needle-in-a-haystack task.

  • Search: Use the search bar to look up customers by name or email address.

  • Filter: Narrow your view to see only "Members" to focus on your most engaged audience.

  • Sort: Click on headers like Points (to see your top-tier VIPs) or Date Joined (to welcome your newest members).

3. Understanding the Customer Journey

By monitoring this page regularly, you can gain valuable insights into your brand's health:

  • High Point Balances: If you see many customers with high points who haven't redeemed them, it might be time to send a marketing email reminding them of your "Ways to Redeem."

  • Guest to Member Conversion: Keep an eye on the "Status" column. If most of your customers are still "Guests," consider increasing the point reward for your Sign Up rule to give them a bigger incentive to join.

Pro-Tips for Customer Management

  1. Spot Your VIPs: Periodically sort by "Points" to identify your top 10% of customers. These are your best candidates for early access to sales or special "surprise and delight" rewards.

  2. Regular Syncs: Get into the habit of syncing your customers once a week or after a major sales event (like Black Friday) to ensure your data stays clean.
