Email Collection Bar: Overview and Working

The Email Collection Bar is a powerful tool designed to help you grow your email list by capturing visitors' email addresses directly from your website.

This feature seamlessly integrates with your site, providing a non-intrusive way to engage visitors and encourage them to subscribe to your newsletter or promotional offers. 

In this overview, we'll guide you through the initial setup and customization options to maximize the effectiveness of your email collection efforts and enhance your marketing strategy.

Want to set up your Email Collection Bar? Here’s how.

STEP 1

Start with the onboarding. Click on ‘Next’.

STEP 2

Enable Kefi Core Snippet and click on ‘Next’.

If you haven’t already, here’s how to Enable Core Snippet to see bars in your shop.

On the redirected page, enable ‘Kefi Core Snippet’ and then click on ‘Save’ and ‘Next’.

STEP 3

To create your First Bar, click on ‘Create Bar’

 In this case, we’d work with the ‘EMAIL COLLECTION BAR’. Select ‘Create Bar’.

STEP 4

Select the template of your choice. Or, create one.

STEP 5

On the redirected screen, start with the ‘Content’ section.
Fill in the Messaging details (first and second message, coupon code and all the other details) Then, go ahead and fill in the additional messaging details for returning customers. Once done, click ‘Next’. The preview is available on the right.

STEP 6

Move on to the ‘Design’ section. Select a template to get started, choose the styling to match your brand, and refine the look with additional styling options.

Template: Choose from a variety of templates to quickly set up your design.

Styling: Customize colors, fonts, and layouts to align with your brand.

Additional Styling: Add advanced design tweaks and enhancements.

STEP 7

Here, you can make any styling change that you may desire.

STEP 8

In the Advanced styling section, here’s all you can control -

Button Animation: Add animation effects to the button to draw attention and enhance engagement.

Bar Position: Choose the location on the page where your countdown bar will be displayed.

Include Close Button: Provide an option for users to close the countdown bar if they choose.

Click on ‘Next’.

STEP 9

In the Target section, follow these steps:

• Page Targeting: Decide on which page you want to show your email collection bar. Simply select the option that best suits your requirements.

• Device Targeting: Select the device on which you wish to display your email collection bar, ensuring it looks great on both desktop and mobile.

• Customer Targeting: Choose the specific type of customers you want to target with your email collection bar based on their behavior, location, or purchasing history.

• Advanced: Access more options to finely tune your targeting and display your email collection bar to a specific audience. Make the necessary changes to optimize performance.

STEP 10
Finally, in the ‘Collected Email’ section, you can connect your Integrations (Kalviyo, Shopify emails) to collect your email data. In the user list section, you can view all the emails that have registered. Once connected, click ‘Save’. The preview is also available on the right.

STEP 11

Now, activate your Email Collection bar by clicking on ‘Activate’ to display the email collection bar on your store.

Congratulations! Your Email Collection Bar is ready!
