1. Access the Upsell Feature
Open your Kefi Slide Cart dashboard.
2. Select Upsells from the left-side menu.
3. Ensure the Upsells toggle is set to Active to display upsell offers.
2. Choose Your Upsell Strategy
You can choose between AI-based and Manual Upsells to display relevant product suggestions in the Slide Cart.
1. AI Recommendations
AI-based upsells automatically suggest products related to the customer’s cart contents. This is ideal for hands-free, data-driven recommendations. Kefi offers different AI recommendation algorithms:
Related Products – Suggests items that are frequently bought together or complement the products in the cart.
Complimentary – Recommends products that pair well with the items in the cart, encouraging customers to purchase related or frequently bought-together products.
2. Manual Upsells
With Manual Upsells, you have full control over which products appear in the Slide Cart. This is useful when promoting seasonal items, best-sellers, or exclusive offers.
To set up Manual Upsells:
Go to the Upsells section in the Slide Cart app.
Click on Create Upsell, which will open a configuration dialog box.
Under Trigger Products, choose:
All Products – The upsell will be shown for any product added to the cart.
Specific Product – The upsell will appear only when a specific product is added to the cart.
Under Upsell Products, click Add Upsell Products to select the products you want to display as upsell offers.
If multiple upsell offers apply to the same cart, the union of both offers will be displayed, ensuring that customers see a combined selection of suggested products.
3. Customize Upsell Display Settings
Upsell Layout:
Choose Carousel View to display multiple products.
Set Horizontal for a sleek, scrollable display.
Display Behavior:
Enable Show upsell offers for products already in the cart if you want to suggest similar items.
Use Restrict the number of upsells in cart to limit how many upsells are shown.
4. Personalize Upsell Content and Style
Text Customization:
Add engaging upsell titles (e.g., "Complete Your Order!" or "Special Add-On!").
Customize the Special Offer message to attract attention.
Design Customization:
Typography: Adjust the Upsell Text Size for better visibility.
Colors: Customize the Title, Background, and Button Colors to match your store’s branding.
