The Announcement feature in Kefi Slide Cart allows you to display important messages to your customers inside the cart. You can use it to highlight limited-time offers, shipping details, stock availability, or any other key information to encourage purchases.
1. Accessing the Announcement Tab
Open the Kefi Slide Cart app from your Shopify dashboard.
2. Click on the Announcements tab from the left-hand menu.
2. Enabling Announcements
In the General Settings section, toggle the switch to Activate the Announcement feature.
2. Enter your Announcement Text – This is the message that will be displayed in the cart.
Example: “Your products are reserved for {timer} minutes!”
You can use {timer} to show a countdown timer.
3. Setting Up the Countdown Timer (Optional)
If you want to add urgency, set a timer for the announcement.
Adjust the Timer Hours and Timer Minutes based on how long you want the message to remain valid.
4. Customizing the Announcement Design
You can modify the appearance of the announcement to match your store’s theme.
Background Color – Change the background color of the announcement bar.
Message Color – Customize the text color for better visibility.
Timer Color – If using a countdown timer, choose a color that stands out.
Typography – Adjust the font size and style to fit your branding.
5. Saving and Previewing Your Announcement
Review the live preview on the right side of the screen to see how your announcement will appear.
Click Save to apply your changes.
By setting up announcements, you can effectively communicate important information and create a sense of urgency, ultimately increasing conversions.
