A Standard Bundle in Kefi allows you to group two or more products and offer them at a discounted or value-driven price. It’s a classic upsell strategy used to boost cart value and move more inventory with a single offer.

The best part? These bundles are prominently displayed on product pages, ensuring they’re easy for customers to find and purchase.

Why Create a Standard Bundle?

  • Increase Average Order Value (AOV) - Encourage customers to buy more by packaging related products together.

  • Move Complementary or Slow-Moving Stock - Pair fast-selling items with lesser-known or seasonal products.

  • Simplify the Buying Decision - Pre-built product sets reduce customer friction and boost conversions.

  • Offer Exclusive Discounts - Reward bulk purchases without manual coupon codes.

Key Features of Kefi Standard Bundles

1. Boosts Cart Value - Encourages higher spend by offering multiple products at a bundled discount.

2. Simplifies Shopping - Combines related items into one easy-to-buy package, enhancing convenience.

3. Drives Conversions - Promotional pricing and value-packed offers motivate quicker purchase decisions.

4. Fully Customizable - Choose the products, set the discount, and control the look, tailored to your brand and goals.

How to Create a Standard Bundle?

STEP 1

Create a Standard Bundle

Go to the Kefi Bundle Builder homepage and select the Standard Bundle. Click ‘Select’.

STEP 2

There are 3 sections available: Content, Design and Advanced.

The Widget Preview is available on the right side.

STEP 3

Let’s begin with the Content section.

The Content section is where you define the core structure and behavior of your bundle.

1. Bundle Info

Title: Enter a custom name for your bundle (e.g., “Bundle and Save More”).

This title is customer-facing and should be compelling yet clear. The maximum character limit set is 80.

STEP 4

2. Product Setup - Here, you can include the products you want as a part of the bundle.

  • Included Product: Select which products are part of the bundle using the + Add Products button.

  • Add Free Gift With This Bundle (optional): Offer a bonus product as part of the bundle. Great for promotions or adding perceived value.

  • Show Swatches Option: Enable swatches for the products in the bundle to let customers view and select different variants (e.g., color or size)

  • Create Product Page for This Bundle: Generate a standalone product page specifically for this bundle, allowing you to market and link to it directly.

STEP 5

On clicking ‘Add Products’, your entire product list will be visible. Select the boxes beside the product you wish to add. Once done, click ‘Select’.

STEP 6

You can then choose Visibility.

This setting determines where your bundle widget will appear across your product pages. You can control where bundles are shown to match your marketing goals and customer journey.

1. Show on All Included Product Pages - Displays the bundle on every product page that contains a bundle item.

Best for: Maximum visibility and cross-selling.

2. Show on Specific Product Pages - Lets you choose where the bundle appears.

Best for: Focused promotions and cleaner layouts.

STEP 7

If you want, you can also ‘Add Free Gift with the Bundle’.

Simply click on the check box and browse to add the free product.

Select the product, and click on ‘Select’ to set it as a free product. You can also add a Free Gift Text for the same.

STEP 8

Show Swatches - You can also display product variants—such as different colors, sizes, or styles-by enabling the Show swatches option.

This allows customers to view and select from the available variants directly within the bundle widget, improving the shopping experience.

To further personalize how these options appear, click on Edit swatches. Here, you can customize the swatch layout, labels, and appearance—for example:

  • Swatches Option Type - Color, size

  • Option Layout

  • Swatch Size

  • Swatch Shape

STEP 9

If you want, you can also Create a Product Page for the Bundle.

This section allows you to generate a dedicated product page for your bundle, giving it a unique listing within your Shopify store, just like any other standalone product.

Click on ‘Create Product’.

  • Product Title - Enter a name for your bundle (e.g., "Sweet Treat Combo"). This will appear as the product name on the product page.

  • Product Description - Add details about the bundle—what it includes, its value, or why it’s a great deal. You can use formatting options (bold, bullet points, etc.) to make it more engaging.

  • Media Upload - Upload a custom image for the bundle or select from images of the included products. (Accepts JPG, PNG, and GIF up to 5MB)

  • Delete Product Button - If you no longer want to create a dedicated product page for this bundle, you can remove it using the Delete Product option.

STEP 10

Next, set the Discount -

Discount Type: Choose between percentage, fixed discount or no discount.

Value: Define the discount amount, e.g., 5% off.

STEP 11

Finally, work on the Text Fields - This section allows you to customize all the text shown on the Mix and Match (Sectional) bundle widget. It’s perfect for aligning the language with your brand tone or translating content for different markets.

You can easily update key elements such as:

1. Footer Text (Total / Off) - Customize how total price and discount are labeled (e.g., "Bundle Price" or "You Save").

2. Free Text - Label for free gifts (e.g., "Bonus" or "Gift Included").

3.Quantity - Edit how quantity is shown (e.g., "Qty", "Units", "Pieces").

4. Add to Cart CTA - Replace the default “Add to Cart” with your own call-to-action like “Grab This Deal” or “Get the Bundle”.

Once done, click ‘Next’.

STEP 16

Move on to the Advanced section.

This section gives you greater control over where, when, and to whom your bundle appears.

STEP 17

1. Widget Position

By default, the widget will appear below the Add to Cart button.

To change its position, open the Shopify Theme Editor, and simply drag the app block to your preferred location on the product page—no coding required.

Embed Bundle via HTML

You can also embed this bundle manually on any page using HTML.

Display the bundle wherever you like by placing the provided HTML tag directly into your theme file.

Hide Shopify Elements

You have the option to hide specific Shopify elements (like the default Add to Cart button or product price) to reduce redundancy when showing bundles.

Simply enter the CSS selectors of the elements you'd like to hide.

For example:

.product__price

.product-form__buttons

This helps create a cleaner, more focused layout around your bundle widget.

STEP 18

Scheduling - Set start and end dates (and time) for your bundle campaign.

Great for flash sales, limited-time offers, or seasonal bundles.

STEP 19

Customer Targeting - Choose who can see the bundle:

  • All Customers (default)

  • Specific Customer Segments (e.g., logged-in users, tag-based groups)

In case of Specific Customer Segment -

  1. Customer Tags - Show bundles only to users with certain Shopify tags (e.g., “VIP”, “Loyal”). You can include/exclude based on tags.

  2. Customer Countries - Limit bundle visibility by geographic region — useful for country-specific offers or regulations. You can include/exclude based on countries.

  3. Minimum Lifetime Spend - Display bundles only to customers who’ve spent above or less than a set threshold.

These filters can be combined using "AND" logic for precise control, perfect for offering exclusive deals, loyalty rewards, or regional promos.

STEP 20

Click ‘Save’ to apply the customizations.

STEP 21

Finally, activate the Standard Bundle by simply clicking on ‘Activate’.

Once you’ve activated the Standard bundle, you can also view it on the store. Simply click ‘Show on Store’
