The Rewards section in the Slide Cart is designed to motivate shoppers to spend more by offering real-time, goal-based incentives like free shipping or discounts.
It creates a sense of achievement and urgency as customers see how close they are to unlocking a reward — all without leaving the cart.
This interactive experience not only increases average order value (AOV) but also keeps shoppers engaged and excited, ultimately leading to higher conversions and a more rewarding customer journey.
Types of Rewards Supported in Kefi Slide Cart
Kefi Slide Cart offers three powerful reward types to help you boost cart value and incentivize purchases:
Discounts – Apply a percentage or fixed amount off once the cart reaches a set threshold.
Free Gifts – Automatically add a complimentary product when the cart meets a specific value.
Free Shipping – Unlock free shipping based on the total cart amount.
Please note: Rewards are calculated based on the total cart value before any discounts are applied.
How to Set Up the Rewards in Slide Cart?
STEP 1
Go to the homepage and select the ‘Slide Cart’ option. Click ‘Select’.
STEP 2
On the redirected page, in the left panel under Cart Features, you’ll find the Rewards section. This allows you to configure tier-based incentives like free shipping or discounts based on cart value. Please click on ‘Activate’ to activate the Rewards feature.
As you adjust these settings, the live preview on the right updates instantly—showing how reward progress bars, messages, and milestones will appear to your customers in real time.
STEP 3
General Settings - In the General Settings of the Rewards tab, you define how rewards are calculated and displayed in the cart.
1. Reward Basis: Choose the trigger for your reward tiers — in this case, Cart Total, which calculates rewards depending on the total amount in the cart. You can also choose Total Items as your reward basis.
2. Show Rewards on Empty Cart: Enable this option to display reward messages even when the cart is empty. This encourages shoppers from the start by showing them how close they are to earning perks.
3. All Tier Completion Text: Customize the message shown to customers when they’ve completed all reward tiers. For example:
“Congrats, you achieved the goal.”
Please note -You can also click Deactivate at the top if you want to temporarily turn off rewards without deleting them.
STEP 4
Reward Settings -
TIER 1 - Tier 1 allows you to set up the first milestone-based incentive in your reward system.
In this example, the reward is Free Shipping, unlocked when the cart total reaches $89.
Key Features of Tier 1:
Reward Type: Choose the benefit offered at this tier — in this case, Free Shipping. But you can also choose between a Free Gift and a Discount.
Reward Description: Customize the label that appears in the cart (e.g., "Free Shipping").
Minimum Amount: Set the cart value a customer must reach to unlock the reward (e.g., USD 89).
Text Before Tier Completion: Display a motivational message (e.g., "You're {amount} away from getting Free Shipping") to encourage higher spending.
Text After Tier Completion: Congratulate the shopper once the reward is unlocked (e.g., "Awesome! You've unlocked free shipping.").
You can also delete the tier anytime using the “Delete this tier” button at the bottom.
STEP 5
TIER 2- Tier 2 works just like Tier 1 but offers a percentage discount in this case (e.g., 15%) when a customer reaches a higher cart value (e.g., USD 1089). You can customize the reward type, minimum amount, and messages shown before and after tier completion.
Use the “Add New Tier” button to create additional milestones, or click “Delete this tier” to remove it as needed. This lets you build a flexible, multi-step reward system tailored to your sales goals.
STEP 6
You can also add Tier 3 - Free Gift Reward (OPTIONAL)
This reward tier offers a free product when the cart reaches a specific value (e.g., USD 2089).
Select the gift product using the Browse button.
Set the quantity of the free item.
Customize pre- and post-reward messages to build excitement.
Once the goal is met, the selected product is added to the cart automatically, creating a high-impact incentive to drive larger purchases
STEP 7
Color - The Color section under Rewards lets you customize the look of your progress bar.
You can set the Progress Background Color (the unfilled portion) and the Progress Foreground Color (the filled portion) to match your store's branding and improve visual engagement within the cart.
STEP 8
Use the live preview on the right to check how your reward setup will appear to customers in real time.
When everything looks good, click ‘Save’ to apply the reward settings to your Slide Cart.
Adding rewards is a great way to incentivize higher spending, keep shoppers engaged, and create a more compelling checkout experience.
