Activating and Deactivating Features in the Slide Cart

The Kefi Slide Cart offers powerful features like Rewards, Upsells, Announcements, Discounts, Additional Products and more — all designed to enhance your customer's checkout experience and boost conversions.

However, not every feature needs to be active at all times.

Depending on your campaign, seasonality, or business goals, you might want to temporarily enable or disable specific features.

This guide walks you through how to activate or deactivate features in the Slide Cart, giving you full control over your cart experience — whenever you need it.

How to Activate or Deactivate a Feature in the Slide Cart?

STEP 1

Log in to your Kefi Dashboard and select ‘Slide Cart’.

STEP 2

On the left-hand menu, choose the feature you’d like to activate (e.g., Additional Products, Rewards, Announcements). In this case, Upsells and click on ‘Activate’.

STEP 3

Configure your feature settings, and once everything looks good, hit the Save button to activate the feature. It will go live on your cart immediately.

STEP 4

If you wish to deactivate a feature, click ‘Deactivate’. This will immediately disable the feature from appearing in your Slide Cart, while preserving your settings for future use. Once you deactivate, do not forget to ‘Save’ the change.

Please note - You can come back at any point and re-enable the feature without having to reconfigure everything from scratch.

STEP 5

The Deactivate Cart option temporarily disables the entire Slide Cart experience on your store. This allows you to pause all cart-related features without losing your saved configurations or settings.
