Customizing its text, color, and position not only helps match your brand aesthetic but also enhances visibility and user engagement.
With Kefi: WhatsApp Marketing’s intuitive interface, you can easily customize how your chat button looks and where it appears—no coding required.
1. Changing the Button Text
The button text is what customers see alongside the WhatsApp icon. A clear, action-driven label can increase clicks and engagement.
How to Customize:
Go to Kefi: WhatsApp Marketing > WhatsApp Button.
In the Content tab, find the field labeled “Chat Button”.
Choose between: Button with text and icon, and Button with icon only
If you select the text option, enter your preferred label (e.g., “Chat with us”, “Need help?”, “Message us on WhatsApp”).
Tip: Keep it short, friendly, and action-oriented.
2. Changing the Button Position
Positioning matters—whether you want the button on the left or right of the screen, or only on specific devices.
How to Customize:
In the Content tab, scroll to the Position section.
Choose between Left or Right alignment.
You can also choose where to display the button: Everywhere, Desktop only and Mobile only
This ensures the button doesn’t interfere with important content and fits well with your store layout.
3. Changing the Button Color
Make your chat button stand out or blend seamlessly with your store’s theme by adjusting its color scheme.
How to Customize:
Navigate to the Design tab.
Under the Colors section, you can update: Icon Color, Button Background Color, Button Text Color, Welcome Message Text and Background Colors
Tip: Use your brand’s color palette for a consistent look or choose contrasting colors to make the button pop.
4. Typography: Adjust Text Size, Style & Readability
Typography settings let you control how your WhatsApp chat button and welcome message appear. You can customize the icon size, button text size, and font weight to match your store's branding.
Additionally, you can fine-tune the welcome message style for better clarity and a more polished customer experience across devices.
Real-Time Preview
While customizing, use the Widget Preview on the right side of the screen to see how your button will appear across desktop and mobile views. This allows you to test and adjust before activating.
Final Step: Save and Activate
Once you're happy with the text, color, and position:
Click Save to store your changes.
Click Activate to publish the chat button on your store.
You can return and update your settings anytime.
