Introduction

This guide provides a detailed, step-by-step walkthrough for creating and configuring your new Product Page Bundle Builder using the Kefi app interface. Follow these instructions to set up your customized bundle experience.

Setup Process

The setup is completed across three main tabs: Content, Design, and Advanced.

Step 1: Create the Bundle

  1. Go to the Kefi Bundle Builder homepage.

  2. Select the Product Page Bundle Builder.

  3. Click ‘Select’ to begin building your bundle.

Step 2: Configure Content (Bundle Details, Products, and Rules)

In the Content section, you will define the core structure and behavior of your bundle.

Bundle Info: Enter a custom, customer-facing Title for your bundle (maximum 80 characters).

Choose Products:

  • Click “+ Add Products.”

  • Select the checkboxes next to the products you want to include in the bundle.

  • Click “Select.” (Note: At least one product must be selected.)

  • Optional: Enable “Show Variants as Individual Products” if needed.

Set Step Conditions (Optional but Recommended):

  • Under Condition 1, define the bundling rules for this step. For example, to require exactly 2 products:

    • Condition On: Total Items

    • Limit products for this step: Exact products for this step

    • Items Count: (Enter 2)

    • Error Message: (Enter Select exact {productCount} products)

You can also add another step and include a Free Gift step to enhance your bundle offer if needed.

Show Swatches: Enable the Show Swatches option if you want customers to view and select product variants (like color or size) directly within the widget.

For details, check out this article on setting up swatches.

Setting Discounts: In the Discount section, choose the discount type and value to be automatically applied to the bundle:

  • Percentage Discount (%)

  • Fixed Amount Discount ($)

  • Fixed Bundle Price ($)

  • Without Discount

Step 3: Customize Design

Switch to the Design tab to customize the visual appearance of your bundle widget and align it with your store’s branding.

Using the Design Editor, you can click on any section (e.g., “Choose Any 2 Foundation” or “Choose 1 Primer”) in the preview to highlight the corresponding settings on the left panel. This makes it easy to locate and modify specific design elements.

Within the Design tab, you can customize:

  • General & Title: Adjust the widget’s background color, font family, and style the bundle title by changing its text color, size, and font style (bold, italic, etc.).

  • Product Cards: Modify product card backgrounds, text colors, image styles, and price formatting to match your store’s theme.

  • Step Page: Customize step labels, navigation buttons (Next/Previous), and the bottom bar for a smooth shopping flow.

  • Footer: Style the total price section and “Add to Cart” button — including colors, fonts, and button shape — for a cohesive look.

You can preview all changes instantly to ensure the widget perfectly fits your store’s design and feel.

Step 4: Configure Advanced Settings

In the Advanced section, you manage display and functional product settings.

Bundle Visibility
Decide where your bundle will be displayed:

  • All Product Pages

  • Specific Product Pages

  • Products in Specific Collections

  • No Product Pages

Add Bundle Image
Upload or select an image to visually represent your bundle, helping it stand out and engage customers.

Checkout Settings
Define what happens when customers add the bundle to their cart:

  • Redirect to Checkout – Takes users directly to the checkout page.

  • Redirect to Cart – Sends users to the cart page after adding the bundle.

  • Show Popup on Add to Cart Click – Displays a confirmation popup when the bundle is added.

Widget Position:

  • The widget defaults to appearing below the "Add to Cart" button.

  • To change the position, go to the Shopify Theme Editor and drag the app block to your preferred location.

  • Alternatively, use the provided HTML tag to embed the bundle manually on any page.

Hide Shopify Elements: To remove redundancy, you can hide default Shopify elements (like the original price or "Add to Cart" button) by entering their CSS selectors.

  • Example selectors: .product__price, .product-form__buttons

Product Settings: Configure how products behave and display:

  • Hide Out of Stock Products: Automatically remove sold-out items from the bundle selection.

  • Show Search Bar: Display a search bar in the product selection popup for easier browsing.

  • Max Quantity Selection Per Product: Set a limit on how many units of a single product a customer can add to the bundle (e.g., maximum of 2).

  • Product Card Size: Define the size of the product cards for Desktop and Mobile.

  • Allow Pre-selected Products: Choose specific products to be selected by default when the bundle loads.

Add Conditional Logic: Use this feature to create dynamic rules based on customer selections (e.g., if Product A is selected, hide Product B).

Scheduling
Set active timeframes to control when the bundle is available:

  • Start Date

  • Start Time (Time zone: America/New_York)

  • End Date (Optional)
Ideal for limited-time bundles, seasonal promotions, or flash sales.

Customer Targeting
Decide who can view and access the bundle:

  • All Customers – Make the bundle publicly available.

  • Specific Customer Segment – Restrict visibility to selected groups or tags (e.g., VIPs, wholesale customers).
