1. How to create the Free Shipping Bar?
The Free Shipping Bar informs customers how much more they need to spend to qualify for free shipping, displaying progressive messages as they add items to their cart. This helps increase average cart value and boosts your store’s sales.
Here’s how you can set your free shipping bar -
Step 1:
Enable Kefi Core Snippet to see bars in your shop.
Step 2:
On the redirected page, enable 'Kefi Core Snippet' and click 'Save'.
Step 3:
Return to the Kefi App. Select 'FREE SHIPPING BAR' and click 'Create Bar'.
Step 4:
Choose a template, or create your own. For this example, select the ‘Autumn’ template.
Step 5:
In the 'Content' section, configure the Free Shipping Goal by entering the required spending amount, the Initial Message displayed when the cart is empty, the Progress Message that updates as items are added, the Goal Achieved Message shown when the goal is reached, and set the Currency to match your store's preferred currency.
Step 6:
Once content is configured, click 'Next'.
Step 7:
In the 'Design' section, choose a Template, customize the Styling to match your brand, and refine the look with Additional Styling options.
Step 8:
Move to the 'Target' section, which includes Page Targeting, Device Targeting, Customer Targeting, and Advanced Targeting. Set it up.
Step 9:
Preview the Shipping Bar on the right side of the screen, switching between Desktop and Mobile views. Once satisfied, click 'Save'.
Step 10:
Activate your Shipping Bar by clicking 'Activate' to display it on your store.
And voila! Your Free Shipping Bar is ready!
2. How to create the Announcement Bar?
The Announcement Bar is a powerful tool designed to help you communicate important messages to your customers directly on your website. Whether you're promoting sales, sharing updates, or highlighting special offers, this feature ensures your announcements are seen by visitors.
Follow these steps to set up your Announcement Bar:
Step 1:
Enable Kefi Core Snippet to see bars in your shop.
Step 2:
On the redirected page, enable 'Kefi Core Snippet' and click 'Save'.
Step 3:
Return to your Kefi App. Select 'ANNOUNCEMENT BAR' and click 'Create Bar'.
Step 4:
In the Content section, add the details such as the messaging information, including the name and announcement message. Once satisfied, click 'Next'. The preview is available side-by-side.
Step 5:
In the Design section, choose a template, customize the styling to match your brand, and refine the look with additional styling options. You can select the bar position, link to the button, and set a button animation from various options.
Step 6:
Click on the 'See Deals' button to view the URL selected in the Additional Styling section.
Step 7:
Once the design is complete, click 'Next'.
Step 8:
In the Target section, set up Page Targeting, Device Targeting, Customer Targeting, and Advanced Targeting options.
Step 9:
Preview the Announcement Bar on the right side of the screen, switching between Desktop and Mobile views. Once satisfied, click 'Save'.
Step 10:
Activate your Announcement Bar by clicking 'Activate' to display it on your store.
Your announcement bar is all set!
3. How to create the Email Collection Bar?
The Email Collection Bar is designed to help you grow your email list by capturing visitors' email addresses directly from your website.
Follow these steps to set up your Email Collection Bar and enhance your marketing strategy:
Step 1:
Enable Kefi Core Snippet to see bars in your shop.
Step 2:
On the redirected page, enable 'Kefi Core Snippet' and click 'Save'.
Step 3:
Return to the Kefi App. Select 'EMAIL COLLECTION BAR' and click 'Create Bar'.
Step 4:
In the 'Content' section, fill in the messaging details, including first and second messages, coupon code, and additional details for returning customers. Click 'Next'.
Step 5:
Move to the 'Design' section. Select a template, customize the styling to match your brand, and refine the look with additional styling options.
Step 6:
In the 'Target' section, set up page targeting, device targeting, customer targeting, and advanced targeting options.
Step 7:
In the 'Collected Email' section, connect your integrations (Klaviyo, Shopify Emails) and view registered emails. Once connected, click 'Save'.
Step 8:
Activate your Email Collection Bar by clicking 'Activate' to display it on your store.
Congratulations! Your Email Collection Bar is ready!
4. How to create the Countdown Timer Bar?
The Countdown Bar is an effective tool for creating urgency and driving conversions by displaying a ticking clock for limited-time offers, promotions, or events.
Follow these steps to set up your Countdown Bar and boost your sales:
Step 1:
Enable Kefi Core Snippet to see bars in your shop.
Step 2:
On the redirected page, enable 'Kefi Core Snippet' and click 'Save'.
Step 3:
Return to the Kefi App. Select 'Countdown Bar' and click 'Create Bar'.
Step 4:
In the 'Content' section, fill in the messaging details and set the timer configuration, then click 'Next'.
Step 5:
Move to the 'Design' section. Select a template, customize the styling, and refine the look with additional styling options.
Step 6:
In the 'Target' section, set up page targeting, device targeting, customer targeting, and advanced targeting.
Step 7:
Preview the Countdown Bar from the right side of the screen. Switch between desktop and mobile views. Once satisfied, click 'Save'.
Step 10:
Activate your Countdown Bar by clicking 'Activate' to display it on your store.
And voila! Your Countdown Bar is ready!
5. How to create multiple goals in the Free Shipping Bar?
If you wish to add multiple goals in the Free Shipping Bar, here are the steps -
Step 1:
On the Kefi app, select 'FREE SHIPPING BAR' and click 'Create Bar'.
Step 2:
Choose a template, or create your own. For this example, select the ‘Autumn’ template.
Step 3:
In the content section, you can find the option ‘Add Secondary Goal’. Click on it and add the second goal.
Step 4:
In this case, let’s add a secondary goal, wherein the customer can gain a free gift upon purchase beyond a certain amount.
And that’s about it - you’ve now successfully added a secondary goal to your Free Shipping Bar. Follow the rest of the steps to activate it.
6. How to create multiple messages in the Email Collection Bar?
If you wish to add multiple messages in the Email Collection Bar, here are the steps -
Step 1:
On the Kefi app, select 'Email Collection Bar' and click 'Create Bar'.
Step 2:
In the content section, you can find the option ‘Second Message’. Click on it and edit the content as per your choice.
Step 3:
In case, you wish to remove the ‘Third Message’, simply click ‘No’ from ‘Show Message for Returning User’. But if you wish to keep the message, edit and add content as per requirement.
And that’s all you’d need to do in order to add multiple messages to your Email Collection Bar. Follow the rest of the steps to activate it.
7. How do we collect emails in the internal marketing tool from the Email Collection Bar?

In the user list section, you can view all the emails that have been registered. Ensure that the collected emails are being properly saved in your internal marketing tool.

To customize the bars for specific products, collections, devices, customers, geographic locations, or durations, follow these steps:
Specific Products and Collections:
Page Targeting: In the 'Target' section, use the Page Targeting option to select specific product pages or collections where you want the bar to be displayed. This ensures that the bar is shown only on pages relevant to the targeted products or collections.
Devices:
Device Targeting: Within the 'Target' section, choose the Device Targeting option to customize the bar's appearance on different devices. You can select whether the bar should appear on desktop, mobile, or both, ensuring a seamless experience across all device types.
Customers:
Customer Targeting: Use the Customer Targeting feature in the 'Target' section to display the bar to specific customer groups based on their behavior, purchase history, or other criteria. This allows you to personalize the bar for different customer segments, enhancing its relevance and effectiveness.
Geographic Locations:
Geographic Targeting: Within the 'Target' section, inside the ‘Advanced Targeting’ - you can set up geographic targeting to display the bar to customers from specific locations. Durations:
Advanced Targeting: In the 'Advanced' section of the 'Target' settings, you can define custom rules and conditions, including specific time durations for displaying the bar.
9. How to do A/B testing?
A/B testing is a powerful method for optimizing your website’s bars by comparing different versions to determine which performs better.
Here’s how you can do the testing -
Step 1:
Head over to the Customer Targeting section within the bar.
Step 2:
You can add the Tags to whom the bar would be displayed. Or, target can be based on lifetime spend. In this you can add the price to whom you want to display the bar. With this, you can add different bars to different customers.
Here’s how you can add tags -
Step 1:
Go to ‘Customers’ from the left navigation panel of your Shopify account.
Step 2:
Then, click on the customer name. You’ll find the option here to add the tag. Once done, click ‘save’.
